Our Mission
At Maryland-Elite Soccer Club, our mission is simple: to provide the region's most talented, driven, and dedicated youth soccer players with an unparalleled soccer experience. We are committed to developing players with a "pro player development" mindset, offering a structured, elite-level training environment led by a full-time, professional technical staff.
Our focus is on creating a player-first environment where every athlete, from beginner to elite, has the opportunity to grow, excel, and reach their full potential. Through our carefully designed programs and commitment to individualized development, we aim to help players achieve their goals—whether it's advancing to the collegiate level, playing professionally, or becoming the best version of themselves.
We strive to offer more than just a soccer program. Maryland-Elite SC is a community of passionate, driven athletes, coaches, and families working together to develop the future leaders of the game.
About Maryland-Elite
Maryland-Elite Soccer Club was founded in 2010 by a small group of like-minded soccer coaches with the objective of providing the best tactical and technical training for players in the Southern Maryland area.
As our coaching staff and team base grew, it became clear that no local soccer club had the right environment or culture to consistently develop elite players or teams. We found that many clubs were hindered by boards staffed with parent volunteers who lacked a true understanding of soccer at the highest levels—or were driven by personal agendas rather than the development of the players.
In 2013, due to growing demand and the need for a club focused on serious player development, Calvert Elite founded Maryland-Elite Soccer Club (a member of the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association).
Maryland-Elite Soccer Club is not a volunteer-staffed club. We are run by a professional staff of elite soccer coaches who work as a team to provide the best environment for producing elite players. Our focus is squarely on player development, and we do not cater to parents.
Our program is designed specifically for players who aspire to become elite. We are not a recreational program, nor will we ever be.
